What to do when everything you say or do..
Whether it be a silly moment of joy, or a random memory, gets on someone’s nerves?
What next when you feel you can’t simply be YOURSELF?

What a horrible feeling it is to feel that everything that makes you unique in character and
comfortable in your own skin, has to be bottled up inside..

They want you void of your own thoughts, opinions, and expression that make you, YOU.
All that makes up your character.
They want you completely pleasing and agreeable.
They want you to just shut up and smile..

They want you to be a ROBOT.

There’s an ache and a rage buried deep.
Silent tears in solitude are the only way to suppress the fire.

I always put you up on a pedestal..
To this very day I still do.
Imperfections overlooked..
The best version of you shown through my eyes.

All because I believe in you
I gave you all my trust.

My heart had been broken, it taught me to be not  to be oblivious to human nature.
But never in my mind did I believe you could be one to break it again.

Small matters you might say...
Thats always the way it starts to crumble.
Shaytan gets you fooled.

Living my life content with my own actions.
I have no control over the rest of the world and I've accepted that.
I may not know the future & sometimes I fear it, but I know myself.
The only one deserving of my full trust is Allah.
