Tryin'

And sometimes I feel overcome..
An ache that won't leave this chest..
Other times it's buried deep down,
A numbness

So I wonder how it goes..
Life as it progresses.
 
No..
I'm not trying to dwell..
I'm tryin' to reminiscence on good times..
Push the shadows away.
Tryin' not to forget..
But how could I?

And so here I am..
Tryin' to surrender yet also be in control.

This flesh concealing a universe stirring within'
Oh...to feel it all.
