Yes I wear a headscarf..
These intricately woven threads
Cover my locks of hair that decorate and frame my face..

This headscarf reminds me
Of where I want my mind to be..
A constant reminder...
A sweet, beautiful reminder..

Don't kid yourself
Simply wearing a cloth over your head,
Doesn't mean instant humility nor humbleness
Remember, its a sign & a reminder to yourself,
Of how you wish to live your life..
Of how you wish to be seen..
Recognized for your heart, your thought..

How must one remind another?..
Hijab weaves deeper than that cloth on your head..
Its keeping in check,
