Silent but heard..

What can hurt most is the ache that pulls within' oneself when knowing that whether to speak or not to speak, you will still be misunderstood & misinterpreted. There are those times it is better to say nothing at all. Neither of the two attempts soften the blow. To sacrifice...preserve...understand...practice patience firm in belief. The silence in of itself says so much & feels so much more. But you know.. Nobody understands one's silence more than Allah subhan wa ta a'la. He is the most Great.. All knowing.. Most Merciful

Be thankful

People are dying of hunger, while others complain about their food's taste,have eating competitions and have extreme waste. People are breaking their fast on a blanket underneath the stars,while some of us are eating a banquet under chandeliers. We think we can't find something to wear in our overflowing closets, when there are those that don't have anything else to wear other than what is on their backs. More often than not its someone that has less then most,that will share all that they have..Yet when we obtain great wealth some of us cling to it as if that is all life is about. Remember your death is inevitable and we all leave a legacy..let it be a great one. Don't forget to be grateful and humbled for all that we have is by the grace of God/Allah. Feed your souls...Don't let this worldly life consume you. A.S.

Seek From Allah

Don't seek all your hopes & dreams within' people. To do so will guarantee you disappointments and let downs. Learn from human nature inwardly & outwardly & improve yourself. Don't hesitate to forgive others just as we too would like to be forgiven..True happiness is when we turn to Allah. For all that we have is by His grace alone. Make remembrance of Allah...that there is no power nor strength with anyone except Him. People can let you down only if you let yourself become a slave to people,anyone other than Allah. Note to self: whenever you feel alone,down & out,disappointed..Remember Allah subhan wa ta a'la & our being created to love & worship Him. La illaha illallah A.S.

Ramadan

Ramadan is around the corner =] Its a great time to detox ourselves not only physically but more importantly spiritually. Lets contemplate and remember that what we try to improve on in ourselves during Ramadan.. It should not be limited to, But applied all our lives. Lost in a dream

Been having these dreams where someone I have removed from my life, keeps reappearing to me. The theme is usually the same, an opportunity to reunite and all is presented well, But the feeling in my heart that it's not & that its only of face value,never changes... Just like in reality, in my dream my heart is far removed,its elsewhere or with my best friend & companion from reality.Sometimes people haunt your dreams just to reaffirm what you already know to be true in you waking life. Its interesting the contrast in which the conscious and subconscious reveal reality. A.S.

Ramadan goal

A goal I want to work on always but will focus on this Ramadan would be strengthening of my faith. Naturally there are those times where the errors of this world will get to me,scare me,create fear and doubts. I'm no extreme case, but it's a part of human nature to have one's faith wax and wean so its important to have constant remembrance in Allah/God. Hence my goal...To have a faith in Allah subhan wa ta'ala that is unshakable. Doubts will not whisper in my ear & I will not be crippled by fear. To continue to live life with faith & grace despite error's effort for us to fall from the path. Dear Lord.. I want to become a better muslim,always. Amen A.S.
